Board of Assessors · Meeting of February 25, 2026

Monson Board of Assessors approves vehicle abatements and personal exemptions. The board unanimously granted seven personal exemptions, five Clause 22 veteran exemptions totaling $2,500 in real estate value, one Clause 22E veteran exemption of $1,250, and one Clause 37A blind exemption of $500, while denying one Clause 41C senior low-income application. Motor vehicle and trailer abatements across three years totaled $1,802.44.

Principal Assessor Drew Pehoviak reported the office is conducting a revaluation year with building and cyclical inspections scheduled to begin in late May 2026, and tabled a possible warrant article to expand Clause 41C eligibility, citing town budget constraints.
