MONSON — Board of Assessors approves FY27 valuation contract and three-year inspection agreement. Chair Christopher W. Haley, Vice Chair Dorothy P.
Jenkins, and Clerk Russell A. Bressette Jr. unanimously approved a $10,000 valuation contract with Bishop & Associates (up from $8,500 in the last 2022 revaluation) and a concurrent property inspection agreement setting real property inspections at $22 per parcel and personal property inspections at $35 per account. The board also signed off on 26 personal exemptions totaling $19,750 in real estate relief and processed motor vehicle commitments of $1,156,622.25.
Principal Assessor Drew Pehoviak reported the office is accepting abatement applications through February 24 and personal exemptions through April 15, and has completed 2025 property splits and combinations in the town system.
