MONSON — Finance Committee reviews preliminary Fire and Police budgets before tri-board meeting. Fire Chief Brian Harris and Police Chief Nicholas Gasperini each presented departmental budgets with discussion of budget asks and operational status. Town financial staff Sherri Roberson and Jennifer Wolowicz requested all departments reduce budgets by 7.5 percent, with revised workups to be presented the following week.
Committee Chair Peter Fimognari requested a current school staff list to inform ongoing budget planning.
