Memorial Hall committee approves December minutes, accepts resignation

MONSON — The Memorial Hall Renovation Committee approved December minutes and accepted the resignation of member Gerry DePace at its January 20 meeting. Chair Mary Watson, Secretary Alan Morin, Peter Warren, Robert Wilson, William Dominick, and Robert Lamb attended. The committee reviewed a floor refinishing estimate of $19,279.50 from J L Flooring and committed to seeking additional bids.
Light fixtures remain on back-order and fire escape work is pending. On fundraising, the committee discussed an engraved brick walkway project and plans to request Selectboard approval on January 27 for a fundraising rollout. The next meeting is set for February 17.
