Monson Select Board appoints three to Board of Health, Housing Authority. In a series of unanimous votes, the Select Board appointed April Acuna to the Board of Health (term expiring June 30, 2028) and Caitlin Szymanski to the Board of Health (term expiring June 30, 2027). David Siniscalchi was appointed to the Housing Authority with a term expiring June 9, 2026 (Patricia A.
Oney recused herself; Warren and Morrell voted aye). A motion to appoint Jean Bailey to the Board of Health received no second and did not pass. The Board also unanimously approved prior meeting minutes, authorized Town Counsel to respond to two Open Meeting Law complaints filed by Roxanne Gunther, waived right of first refusal on two Lower Hampden parcels, and renewed entertainment licenses for Sunsetview Farm Camping Area and Beth's Family Dining through December 31, 2026.
The Board continued discussion of waiving Memorial Hall rental fees, with Ms. Oney pledging to draft a revised policy with Building Department staff.
