Select Board · Meeting of March 10, 2026
Monson Select Board approves early voting window for May-June election. Town Clerk Mary Watson reported that 33 percent of voters used early or mail voting in the prior cycle, both offered at no state cost. The Board unanimously backed in-person early voting May 30 through June 5, with sessions scheduled Saturday through Friday across six days.
Watson warned residents that failure to return annual town census forms may result in removal from the active voters list. Town Administrator Jennifer L. Wolowicz reported that departments must cut 7.5 percent from fiscal 2027 budgets to meet a $1.7 million shortfall.
