MONSON — Tri-Board committees advance $3 million override question to town meeting ballot. The Finance Committee voted unanimously to move the override budget forward, with the Select Board voting unanimously to place the $3 million warrant article on the town agenda and the School Committee expressing no opposition. Two budget scenarios will be presented: one reflecting anticipated revenue with service cuts including 3 police positions, 2 fire positions, and delayed highway paving, and one funded through the override.
Pathfinder Regional School assessment for Monson totaled $1,637,519 for FY27, a $147,800 increase from FY26.
